Stephen K. Webster

Stephen K. Webster is a singer-songwriter based in Fernandina Beach, Florida, performing original songs and distinctive covers at venues across North Florida and Southeast Georgia.Stephen performs under his own name, while his long-running recording project The Colorful Quiet (since 2005) features an indie/experimental folk catalog blending intimate acoustic songwriting with atmospheric rock and folk influences. Seven full-length albums and one EP are currently streaming on all platforms. Highlights include the single “Survival,” which spent over 30 weeks on the iTunes Folk Top 100 (peaking at #42), aired on NPR’s Open Mic, and was named a Top 15 finalist in American Songwriter Magazine’s contest, along with several tracks licensed for MTV’s Teen Mom OG (2011), Teen Mom 3 (2013) and one song synced in the 2009 film Breaking Point (starring Tom Berenger and Busta Rhymes). Three additional back-catalog releases are coming in 2026.After a period focused on family and career, Stephen returned to performing in late 2025 and is now actively gigging, sharing live clips and covers, with plans to record new solo material later this year.
